i could also add a list of bands i´ve seen

in my whole life? every fucking artist? are you kidding? ^^

even assuming i were able to remember every one, this list were too long and to meaningless to post ^^

things which were awesome enough to remember? bands like sphongle or special sets like an “irgumburgum(live) vs. kindzadza(live) vs. trippyhippies(live) vs. insector(live) over 8h long-set” ? tooo unbelievable to even start reporting about it ^^

i heard sound i can’t even describe =)

Yeah I think most memorable performances would be easier

I’ve listed it as the ones I have seen most recently first:

Chris Liebing
James Zabiela
Yousef (seen him many a time, he’s a local legend)
Radio Slave
Guy Gerber
Joris Voorn
Above & Beyond
Andy Moor
Jaytech
Eddie Halliwell
John O’Callaghan
Tiesto
Deadmau5

That’s all I can remember for now, I’m sure there are many more DJs that I have not listed - I haven’t listed the residents for nights such as cream or circus that I have attended, as I doubt many would recognise them

David Guetta was the first DJ I ever saw, way back in 2007

Hopefully when I get paid tomorrow there will still be some tickets left for Circus, where I will be able to see Sven Vath

Well besides who I’ve seen already, I’ll be going to UMF Brasil 2011 next week.

Shit I couldn’t list all of those here.

Most recently in the past couple months it was:

Bart Bmore
AC Slater
Mord Fustang
Mark Knight
Misstress Barbara

then this saturday it will be:

Needless to say I will be skipping borgore and friends

List is too long to remember but I’m gonna just mention the mind blowing ones that come into mind now: Tiësto (a LONG LONG time ago) Dubfire and Plastikman.

Carl Craig
Carl Cox
Richie Hawtin
Dubfire
James Holden
Loco Dice
Steve Bug
Beardyman
Ida Engberg
Nicolas Jaar
Josh Wink
Joris Voorn
Reboot
Chris Liebing
John Digweed

I can’t even begin to list everyone that I’ve seen over the course of time getting into EDM. I’ve been to Canada, driven down the entire east coast, and been out of state more times than I can count to go to shows. (I’m from Massachusetts).

Considering I was 16 when I first started sneaking out to clubs with my friends, and I’m 26 now… and I’ve been going to shows non-stop (except for a few periods of downtime)… yeah.

I know I’ve seen Dieselboy at least (usually 2-3) once every year for the past 10 years. The guy is my hero.

Other than that? I feel like I’ve seen a LOT of people. Going to Ultra, Starscape, and WEMF really opened my eyes up to the big players. And locally I go to a lot of “underground” shows as well, the unsung heroes of the scene.

So I can’t list them all, but big props to them

Avicii
Axwell
Kaskade
Afrojack
Chris Lake
Sub Focus
Nero
Datsik
Dada Life
Adrian Lux
Rusko
Aoki
Chuckie
DJ Vice
Feed Me
The Disco Biscuits
Manufactured Superstars
Roger Sanchez

Wow I must be getting old. There are a lot of djs/artists I do not recognize. In my rave career(LOL) I’ve seen too many people to list.

Here are the people I’ve seen recently

Dj Friction
Dj Marky
Dj Hype
Goldie
Aphrodite
Q Project from Total Science

Surprisingly, Aphrodite absolutely killed it when he was here. I was very shocked.

Fedde Le Grande
Richie Hawtin
Mr. White
Sebastian Ingrosso
The Disco Boys
Moonbootica
Laserkraft 3D
Lexy & K-Paul
George Morel
Eddie Thoneick

hope i didn’t forget any.

Sebastian Ingrosso was by far my favourite. while not being the cleanest technically the show and vibe he put up just burned the house down. one of the few that obviously had at least as much fun as the crowd. close second are Lexy & K-Paul with their combo of DJing and kaospad performance.

one of the first “raves” I went to had aphrodite as a headliner…I didn’t know anything about edm or dnb in particular, but for a 16 year old it sure was memorable…along to my list of people that made an impression on me

Tipper, back in 2002, all breaks set fucking unreal how good that guy is technically
Planet of the Drums (Dieselboy, Dara, DB and AK1200) very good jungle night very good sound as I remember
Sasha
Digweed - It didn’t seem like either of them cued their records…has to be massive skill for sure

Carl cox - started his set by turning the monitors out (toward the crowd) and putting 2 new records (and left the previous dj’s record on) -total trainwreck, then he just fiddles with the pitch controls and viola, perfect 3 deck mix, then he plugged his headphones on and went to work…

Oakenfold - I put this here because I lost my wallet at his show…

Siouxsie & The Banshees
The Cure
The Ramones
Butt Hole Surfers
Ice T & Body Count
Beastie Boys
Reverend Horton Heat
Love and Rockets
Janes Addiction
Moby
Flock Of Seagulls
Violent Femmes
Nine Inch Nails
Rollins Band
House of pain
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Rollins Band
Primus
Arrested Development
Front 242
George Clinton & The P-Funk All Stars
A Tribe Called Quest
Boo Yaa Tribe
Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Pharcyde
etc…

I worked/lived in a punk club when I was 16/17 so I’ve seen so many punk bands, some famous some, not so famous that I couldn’t even begin to list them.

Interesting mix you have there. No EDM?

Well I have been to a couple of raves, but I don’t remember a single DJ or artist at any of them besides Moby.

I love seeing Carl Cox play. He always always kills it.

Always.

Daft Punk was my most memorable. alive 2007 was intense. Toronto. In a massive airplane hanger!

saw them start a riot in 94 (I think, it was the downward spiral tour) in Dallas…but one of the best live shows I have ever seen…

to list rock bands that have had a tremendous effect on me…
