Why do quite a few of my post never get approved (or very late)?
Well you can see the topic. I am quite new to the scene so I’m reading a lot on DJTT and its form. But when I write about a topic it either takes about 4 days until the post gets approved or they seem to be lost forever.
What is happening to those posts and why seem some people to be able to reply instantly? Is it some kind of protection for new users not to be spammers/bots?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying you are not doing your job or sth. In fact I’m very pleased with all the information you provide, but this issue makes the conversation on the forum not very fluent - at least for me.
yes. you need 5 posts. after you´ve reached this count all your threads go online instantly except for the buy/sell section. where every post has to be approved by the mods.
Sounds reasonable. Still strange some never got released, but that must have been due to too many spams just like in my mail inbox.

we try our best to approve threads asap, but sometimes it´ll take a while for a thread to be approved since we´re just honorary mods with normal day jobs and a real life
