He described his problem to me in a PM and traktor is bugging out on him not letting him load any .TSI file - it keeps spitting an error at him
But yeah man, if your gonna start a new thread like this you gotta back it up with info, all this traktor hating without foundation gets fairly tiresome for us all.
Im trying to run the VCI-100SE on Traktor Pro.
I can’t seem to find out how to midi map properly, I have tried importing the tsi files 1.4
right now im running traktor pro 1.6 with a tsi file 1.4
it doesn’t seem like it is running properly at all, first off i have no cross fader…
the effects also don’t seem to be working properly…I’m trying to figure out how to get my VCI-100SE working like Ean’s does in the youtube video… What version of traktor should i be running… I am limited to pro, and LE… Le sucks so ill stick with Pro.. and what tsi file should i use?
any help is much appreciated, sorry for the annoying attitude today.. ive been at this thing since about 10 am this morning trying to get it to work.

You don’t like the TSI 1.6 file?
Also, if theres no crossfader in TP, you prolly have ti set to “external mixing” you want to reset it to internal mixing

Should i be using 1.6 with the SE version or 1.4?
o i used to get that only sometimes, it was to do with havin the wrong soundcard set up
this fixed a multitude of other problems i had, try setting the soundcard option to your internal soundcard?
first of all, change your view to 2 decks + mixer.
second of all, check your latency in regards to the effects and all. If your latency is too low then it could screw everything up.
Third, download the newest TSI. You are not using TPro 1.6 cause there is no TPro 1.6, the highest is 1.1.1.. Your VCI SE is on firmware 1.3, your TSI is probably 1.6.
Fourth, we see your threads and we are trying to help, please stop making a new thread every time you want to complain.
I am not sure why it’s not loading the TSI. I’d say reinstall TPro. While it’s installing I’d recommend reading the manual a little.
Uhh…the 1.6 should work fine, if I’m not mistaken. Someone with a VCI-100 chime in here.

Firmware 1.4 should be coming out in a bit, but it’s not out yet.

one last question
everything seems to be working fine for the most part.
On deck A there are 3 drop down menus for effects, and on Deck B there is only one. Is there a way to toggle this?
Secondly, is there a way to preset my loop length. Whenever I press the loop function it automatically goes to i believe 4s. I know you can shorten it and legthen it on the fly, but is there a preset to change it to say 1 second?
