Has anyone else done this?
I’ve been looking into this for quite a while. Is V easy to mod to send midi signals and the accelerometer in it is quite accurate for a nz$100 device!
I was thinking more useful for effects - possibly triggering stuff - rather then using it to do drumming etc. Considering it gives 3-axis control could be an awesome addition to a set with ableton, controlling 3 effects with one gesture!
What do people think? Cool or a bit to geeky to pull off in a club?
Would you have to mod the wii-mote so people had no idea what it was?
Hmmm, I reckon it would be sweet if modded to be invisible to the crowd. All they would see is the music following your movement, the wiimote is so recognizable it would induce an automatic bias.
Though the ladies would probably dig it..

I agree, having just the Wiimote without the second controller or something even smaller could be pretty cool to walk out in the crowd…

Could start dancing it up hard while still controlling the music.. people would be so confused! Or they would have no idea what was going on. lol. the 2nd probably being more likely.
