Will You Upgrade to Traktor Scratch Pro 2 from S4?

Just out of curiosity I am wondering who is going to be getting the Scratch Upgrade or already has TSP and is going to use their Tables with the S4? It’s $139.99 for anyone wondering or on the fence.

And BTW I am really excited for the next 3 weeks: MIDI Fighter, TSP2, I get to use my 1200s again, Florescent Orange Control Vinyl… Needless to say, I’m really pumped. I’ll post some pics of my first gig with my new setup when I get the chance, but who else is getting this upgrade/using tables with the S4?

I already have TSP anyways… will be free update for me… but i’ll update TSP.

Will I use it with TT or CD player? Why not for some Disco & oldies party? :smiley:

So whats the upgrade price to Scratch? As S4 owners we get the TP2 upgrade for free, so does that I can upgrade to TSP2 for $79?

I already own SDuo so… planning on getting a pair of TTs for an alternate setup, rather than plugging them to the S4

That’s the regular upgrade price for just the software. I don’t know if there is a different software, or if they just jacked up the price for S4 users, but it costs $139.99 for us. Maybe the difference is Control Vinyl being $40 for a set.

It’s because you need to buy a scratch licence, which is not owned by NI.

I am definitely considering getting the TSP2 upgrade. I don’t think it will be on April 1st, but prob within a month or so.

I plan on getting the Free TP2 upgrade an then save up for some vinyl and do the TSP2 upgrade all in one hit

Just an FYI if you mean regular vinyl, cool but if you mean timecode vinyl, dont get any. They are already included in the S4 - TSP2 upgrade package.

Free upgrade 1st-then ill upgrade to scratch w/in a couple months.

I’d like to upgrade to the full TSP2 license. Currently negotiating a TSD license for about 25-30EUR. Lot of peeps got a TSD packages from the discount and are using the A4 only with ableton or just not using the Duo license.

The backup option I’m considering is getting a complete Duo package (there are still offers for about 150-200EUR, again from the 50% off deal ) and then sell the A4 only for about 130EUR. It would still give me the TSP2 license for less than the official upgrade price.

Karlos, do you have any idea if the free upgrade to TSP2 for S4+*SCRATCH owners will work for *SCRATCH license activations post April 1st? Need to know if I need to rush …

Got a DUO license for 30EUR yesterday and registered it successfully last night. April 1st will now be a TSP2 upgrade for me :smiley:

I’ll have to see how hid is working with the s4 for cdj’s…Ive heard that it responds better than the timecode. Anyone?

Don’t know if I’ll go the cdj route or tt’s yet…depends what I get into more.

Ill probably want 4 deck control without the shift button so 2 cdj’s with looping function etc built in gives alot of options really quick.
