WIndowsXP DJTT Edition

I see alot of customizations with stickers, paint, hardware DIY’s etc…
so I found a tutorial on Changing the boot screen on WindowsXP (Some may already know how to do this).

NOTE: This tweak is a just for fun DO AT YOUR OWN RISK! and in no way has any advantages towards dj’n or production.

I have gone one step foward and made a WindowsXP DJ Techtools Edition hack.

Download Here

Make a back up of the original c:/windows/system32/ntoskrnl.exe

reboot into safe mode (reboot, hit F8 before the boot srceen comes up) or boot off a DOS bootdisk (check out www.bootdisk.com for floppy boot images) to overwrite the original c:/windows/system32/ntoskrnl.exe. Once you have done either of those, reboot, and that should do it.

The images you provided dont work for the vista bootscreen tutorial. Not fair =(

No sorry I did not think it would work. I myself am not running vista (nor will I ever having to many past troubles) on any of my computers.

Currently I am working on Winxp/OSX/Win7 and I have booted up on occasion Linux Distros Debian/Ubuntu/Fedora/Ubuntu Studio and Kishfur Studio
