X Fader problems

So I bought a VCI100 SE off someone on the forums and downloaded the most recent mapping for Traktor 2. I installed the mapping and my crossfader isn’t working correctly. It is either all the way left, in the middle, or to the right. I don’t know if this is a mapping problem or the actual controller’s problem which would lead me to start a paypal case for a faulty product.

Anyways…if it IS the mapping, i’m new to traktor and don’t know how to map the crossfader properly. Someone help?

Adjust the cross fader curve in settings.

In Traktor 2 I went preferences>mixer> and the crossfader is already set all the way to smooth and not sharp…didn’t fix the problem.

no chance you moved the cf curve adjust dial on the back of the vci100 by accident?
