Xone:92 discontinued?
Damn…that means the prices for used units will probably go up, won’t it?

They still have the grey one but not the silver you were looking at. ![]()
Anyone who buys a xone:92 new these days is wasting their money IMO. 4-band eq is not worth the features it lacks compared to the newer A+H mixers.
when you need 6 channel, there’s not a load of good choices. 4band eq is a personal choice, and some don’t care about the newe features included in those new A&H because they have them in other piece of gear or software.
How 'bout that XD
That doesn’t mean that A&H have discontinued them, just that the dealer has stopped carrying them most likely
the 92 is 4 channel no?
edit: oh 2 mic inputs, i see. Still, I don’t see it being worth it.
Two different mixers.
One analogue, one digital. Sometimes it isn’t about how many effects you pack into a mixer.
+1
Fair enough, forgot it was analogue but It’s still not a reason to buy it new, they are practically indestructable. The effects wouldn’t be the main thing that draws me to newer mixers either.
the first 2 channels can be used as line input(fx return) as well.
All Phono preamp can be changed to line input by changing few jumper inside the mixer.
Bah, no problem, everyone have their specific need after all.
It’s a great mixer, I wasn’t criticising it in the slightest. I’ve used it a number of times, my point was more specifically why would someone be buying it NEW. Surely there’s got to be a great number of these around these days, it was released a good few years ago and given the quality of A+H products I can’t imagine that many of them will be out of commission. An analogue DJ mixer seems a little pointless unless your all analogue, and if your using all those channels thats doubtfull.
but yeah, I appreciate people have different needs. When it comes down it, A+H make some of the best DJ equipment on the market and purchasing it definately wouldn’t be a bad choice in any situation.
