Xone:k1
The XONE:K1 is out! It’s just a K2 without audio interface for WAY cheaper.

How cheap is way cheaper?
By about $20 difference according to mark @ Dj worx. For that kind of price drop it hardly seems worth buying a K1 over a K2, even if just as a backup soundcard.
$20? I would by a K2 instead.
I’m a bit
by the mixing desk/console style faders…
Just watched the YouTube video … Case is “available as accessory” … ???
So no soundcard and no case, it should be quite a bit cheaper!
Matter of taste I guess, personally I love them although I kinda grew up on formula sound mixers.
WTF ! … The case will probably run $40 like the X1 case :-S,
I hope DJ Worx got the price wrong in their article and its 159 dollars rather than 159 UK pounds.
I saw 159 UK pounds including VAT. Can also be the suggested retail not actually street.
I love them in my CNTRLLR. So easy to manipulate them all together with just one hand.
Its funny because I didn’t like them until I got my RGB Slim and they grew on me FAST. I think Livid got it right…
It was a same with me bro ![]()
Also bought this up over at DJWorx. Mark contacted A&H, the suggested retail of the K2 is £199, but places are selling it for £169. Suggested retail of the K1 is £159, which means it will probably end up being a lot cheaper than that.
But still, with no case and no soundcard I’d rather spend the extra bit on the K2. I’ve never had to use the soundcard in my K2, but I know it’s there if I ever needed it.
I use mine as a controller for freestyler (DMX program) and the console style faders are great, can grab all of them at the same time and move them!! Not sure I’d like it for DJ use though…
Has anyone tried putting regular faders/chroma faders on a K2? Are the faders too close together?
Faders do not fit to K2…
Hope they get the price thing sorted out. When converting it to CND it ends up being $299 cnd. While the k2 is $329 cnd with soundcard + case… The case is pretty useful imo, especially since it raises the k2 up to standard mixer height.
Latching layers was one of the main reasons that I bought the K2. Seem’s a shame that they’ve taken it out!!
