Z1 with iPad - which adaptor?
Can I use the camera connection kit to use my Z1 with Traktor DJ on my iPad Air? Or do I have to use the official lightning to 30 pin adaptor? I seem to find information that the camera connection kit can be used, but my Z1 doesn’t do anything except send sound through it. Nothing on the unit actually works or lights up.
You cannot use the CCK as it does not pass power.
You must use the supplied cable.
so the supplied cable and Lightning to 30 pin and I’m good to go?
Also, is there any way to get grids and cue points to transfer over?
Yes mate but defo buy and official Apple lightening - 30pin convertor. Third party ones will not work. The Apple version carries audio and power the cheap ones don’t. Plus the Apple one has a chip in it.
