Zomo

Zomo

Haven’t seen this on here but I was reading iDJ mag today and they reviewd a new midi controller the Zomo MC-1000

It got a really good write-up, includes a good soundcard as well;

Zomo Arigato Mr. Roboto

but… looks kinda Pioneerish

Is that the one that’s designed to be attached to the back of a DJM-800?

yep, that’s the one. And although I’m neither a fan of pioneer nor zomo due to their pricing policies, I gotta admit the combo looks kinda sexy.

omg… I guessed right and I never heard of zomo before O_O

$430?!?!?! NO THANK YOU sheesh

I’ll go ahead and state the obvious, for that much I can get two X1’s!!

SHIT, For that much you can get a APC40+Audio2DJ

299 euros is pretty good imo. It has a built-in sound card don’t forget..

The review was very good…

I like it - I just prefer not to press a shift button to control a different deck and this seems a good compact option for people using an external mixer..

You do know that what you said is like I can buy a $500 cup to drink out of and the reviews said its fantastic and worth it, when there are cups for as low as 50cents that do the same exact thing.

..

From what I can tell from the descriptions it has 4 stereo line outputs, which is the same as an audio 8 (without the inputs). It’s basically that plus an X1, I don’t think the €299 price tag is ridiculous at all.

Thats nice… so it’s like having 2 A2DJs
But how good is it?

Unfortunately it seems to be 16 bit, which is less than most pro level interfaces.

ok back to flaming the price for this =D

I’m surprised they don’t do a version without the sound card, for timecode users for example.

Eh?

What does the same thing for 1/1000 of the price?
