Any chance of using them for tempo?
They are endless encoders so there's no limited number of steps to worry about.

Yeah dude im loving the encoders on the DV-1. I was using the 8 encoders on the axiom 25 keyboard (are they considered encoders?) mapped for like navigation, bass, filter, and even the XY fader i know...super ghetto but its all i had to work with until i saved some money and got my lil set up. They knobs on the axiom spin freely but i guess the resolution is limited? The little LCD feedback wouldn't go past 127 or something. Would this be considered the resolution of the encoder? Just wondering. So funny, my XY fader would sometimes get stuck 3/4 of the way over between decks, or i'd be scrolling through my library and it would just stop, or the filter would just stop at 3'clock on a mid sweep.........#failblog #djproblems

oh.... duh... Didn't even think about that. I suppose resolution doesn't matter with endless encoders.

Well, you still have to consider the resolution of each step...

You can adjust the size of the pitch increments software side, it's not an issue. It only matters with a limited number of steps.

Hi. I'm new here (just registered), and I know I'm late to the party, but what is the speculation date for the release of the CMD Studio 4A? I want to get it as my first controller, but I was told that it might not even come out in 2013.

    Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Good news: I have found employment.

Bad news: Unless I want to make videos on the train into London I doubt I'll find the time to make any more
