Hi guys,
Just thought I'd share what I've been up to for the past couple of weeks. Hope you like.
I wanted an effects controller to complement my 2 midi fighters and make browsing through tracks a bit easier.
Parts:
16 pots
12 Arcade Buttons
1 3 way rotary switch
1 UMC32+
The top and bottom plates are 3mm acrylic and the sides are 12mm MDF to add a little support.
Spray painted with a black metallic paint with a stick on stencil to try and get the led to shine through the front plate, didn't work as well as expected
Wiring up everything. I found by wiring the 3 way switch as on off on each of their own pins it can be used to scroll menus really well as the UMC does not support encoders.
Finished and I think it's looking good.
Now just to map it.
I would highly recommend using the UMC32 for any one looking to get into the DIY Midi world.
