1ST Gig and S4 Froze
Has anyone had this issues…
I used the S4 at home with no issues everything worked fine then during the end of my Gig last night it Froze channel A was playing the led’s on the meter were all lit strait up I changed songs it would load press play nothing, I shut down Traktor nothing, I shut down the S4 and rebooted Traktor and it worked all my latency is down could this have been a single glitch it never happened before…
do you use pc or mac!?

Could have been a corrupt file. If you remember the exact file, load it up and see if you can re-create the problem.

Yeah, Well everyone has there own soulutions could be a few thing maybe your Cpu was running to high, Traktor has a trend to crash on pc, corrupt file, maybe sometimes just a lag spike.
Sorry to offend, but Traktor does NOT TEND to crash on a PC, what a dumb thing to say. Traktor runs as well as it does on a Mac.
Yesterday I did two gigs,. one outside in a festival, the other in a club later that night. My rig …XPS running Windows, the Mac sat in the bag all day.
The chances are it the way you have your machine configured, how long had you been DJ’ing when it happened? It might be a number of things, but as the poster said previously “can you recreate it?”. Are all the updates installed? Temp directors cleaned. enough space on the hard disk for caching?
