2 Deck Launchpad w/ 8 Cues+Loop+Instant Gratification FX + LED

Thanks to many contributors of DJTT forums (Str8upDrew, l0rdr0ck, alex8337 and others) I was finally able to get my launchpad fully mapped and ready for combat! :slight_smile: Since I am fairly new to midi mapping this took me about a week to finalize, so I decided I would share with other members. Here is a layout of the mapping I have put together. The beatphase LED was just for fun but I decided to leave it, sort responds like KIT’s lights from Knight Rider but to the beat. The mapping has complete and colorful LED feedback response. This mapping is for Traktor Pro and does not use Automap.

Hope this mapping will be of use to some of you other DJs. I have included all the .tsi files along with midi yoke and bome’s inside the .rar file

Thank You! I Do still have that send A light bug. I looked everywhere to find a reason why it was doing that but no luck. Did you ever find a fix?

Yes one by one I wasn’t sure how to create a master .tsi that would load all at once.

Ah man i having a problem. Im using the send monitor state beta so the led’s wont freeze up traktor but when i do that i think i over load the midi yoke

Yes every button has some sort of LED feeback

I didnt used send monitor state and have no issues here routing all four .tsi files through “midi yoke: 1”

These are my settings:

IN BOME’S MIDI KEYBOAD
UNDER MIDI IN TAB SELECT
SELECT IN “FROM MIDI YOKE:1”
UNDER MIDI OUT TAB
SELECT “LAUNCHPAD”
UNDER OPTIONS TAB
MAKE SURE “MIDI THRU” IS CHECKED
IF SUCCESSFUL BOTTOM LEFT WILL READ “OPENED LAUNCHPAD SUCCES”

OPEN TRAKTOR > CONFIG > CONTROLLER MANAGER
CLICK ADD…
IMPORT 4 JWLPF FILES
IN-PORT SELECT “LAUNCHPAD”
OUT-PORT SELECT OUT TO “MIDI YOKE 1”
REPEAT FOR ALL 4 FILES

I am using a macbook so bomes will not work for me. I will be attempting to use Midikeys for mac os x. Hopefully this does the trick!

Will be posting my finding for all the macheads.

EDIT:USING MIDIKEYS - Make destination Launchpad, Listen to AIC 1 bus 1, select thru. INSIDE TRAKTOR PRO - make your input Launchpad, your output AIC 1 bus 1

you can use it along side an S4 yes, but the mapping tsi files are for a novation launchpad.

I have reworked my implementation, don’t have to do anything funky with Ableton
anymore. Maybe this tip will help or give you something new to do. LOL

Ok i loaded it, but some of the effects arent like the midi fighter. Idk if that how u wanted it but when i hit all 4 beatmash buttons(which i had to map since they where another effect) it kicks in a lofi…
