2012 DJTT forum mix competition

  • 30 minutes max If you go over I’ll give you the option of cutting the end or the beginning.
  • Full track list required.
  • PM a link to download your mix and tell me what category you want to be in. I will not pass judgment if I think your techno mix is trance or vice-versa. It’s up to you to know what you’re playing.
  • I will not make any volume or EQ adjustments to your mix. It’s up to you to make those before you send it to me.
  • All mixes must be done live in one take.
  • Each category must have at least two entrants. You do not automatically win if you have the only polkacore mix
  • No identifying which mix is yours in any way. If you’re found to do this your mix will be pulled. If you send me a Soundcloud link make sure it’s private and you send me the private link. Keep it private until the contest is over.
  • You have until Midnight CST September 8th. Voting will end on September 30th at 10:00 PM CST. It’s up to you to figure out what time that is in your time zone. Anything the forums says was sent after that time will not be included

I’m also thinking admins/mods/crew should not enter.

as long as someone keeps the integrity of the contest in tact I don’t think it’s a problem…

If it’s anonymous till the end when a winner is chosen, mods should be allowed to enter. Would be awesome to guess who’s who.

If you use Traktor take a look at ‘Spun’ which is a OSX application that can help log your track listings and where each track is being played.

Can I enter a drum & bass as well as a hip hop set? Or just one entry per DJ?

I like twiter.dj better. Does the same thing, but works with Nicecast to update track titles live. Plus it’s Hawtin’s project and I like Hawtin.
