That firmware update is from April last year unfortunately.
By popular demand I now made new ZIPs with two versions of each mapping: WITH or WITHOUT bome.
What are the differences?
The BOME version is much newer, has unique features like jog screens, and is the only getting updates.
However instalation is more complex, and a BOME license costs 60 eur after testing.
The documentation and the installation guide is only updated on the BOME version as well.

I’ve now made a table of all the open tickets I have with Pioneer about firmware bugs.
The DDJ-1000 bugs are very probably present in the DDJ-800 as well, I did not tested that.
Other DDJ 1000 mapping for Traktor
Here is my mapping for the DDJ-1000 for Traktor software. It doesn’t include the screens mapping but you can refer to DJ Pedro Estrela’s one who made an amazing job for the same controller to add this specific part to mine. I forgot to mention in the presentation video that the slip reverse button is used to trigger the cruise mode and pressing shift and this button enable the reverse playback.

good news:
FW 1.02 DDJ-800 fixed the jog displays for MIDI.
I tested on shop with my DDJ-1000 mapping and it worked immediatly

bad news:
aftre using it for a while it triggered a FW bug (?) and the screens went dead.
restarting eveything did not fixed it.
did not had time to reapply the FW.
