Advice on timecode setup

Hi,

I’m pretty new to dvs/timecode setups, I’m am very interested in purchasing gear for this setup. But at the moment I don’t know where to start and what exactly I’ll need..

So, what do I need for a complete timecode setup? I’m already proud owner of a Kontrol S4 for some years now and I still love using it. Can I use this as mixer for the setup?

You’ll need Traktor Scratch Pro, which will come with DVS-compat CDs and records. You can use an S4 as both the mixer and soundcard for a timecode/DVS setup.

Thanks for the reply. With Scratch Pro do you mean the Scratch A6 and A10 products?
