Advice on new gear purchase

Hey all!

I’m considering to expand my setup. At my internship they are willing to offer me a complete new arrange of gear. Thing is, at the moment I’m a proud owner of a Kontrol S4. But I would love to fully engage into DVS mixing.

So therefore, I need to now what possibilities there are if I can still use my Kontrol S4 in a new timecode setup. What do I need besides two vinyl players?

I’ve found a retailer where my intern can purchase the gear, they have a good range of sets where I can get it and possibly already a combination of gear I need.

Any advice is welcome! Thanks in advance

You’ll probably have to upgrade to Traktor Scratch Pro for DVS. Other than that, you can plug turntables into the S4 and you’re set once you have Traktor Scratch.

Agreed, get Traktor Scratch Pro, plug turntables into your S4 and off you go.

Clear, so I can use my S4 as mixer for the two vinyl players.
