Akai MPD24 for Traktor 3 and Pro. Looking for tips, tks files

I just got the Akai mpd24 and am trying to map it to use with traktor 3 or pro. It’s my first time mapping a controller to work with traktor or any software so any tips or tks files anyone would share with me would be much appreciated.
I’m pretty well versed with traktor 3 and just learning what’s new with pro and understand midi mapping generally speaking.

i’m using MPD24 all the time, but it depends how you’re using it. are you using it with a mixer or any other controller? i can send you tsi/tks for use with a mixer

Hey, thanks a lot. I’ll check it out. I use x sessions with hot keys on my macbook keyboard, which is completely basic too. I am more focused on getting familiar with midi mapping with my akai for now.

oops, forgot to mention that i use the akai only in combination with timecode records (2 decks) and an external mixer.

I’m picking up one of these soon, and eventually probably 2. Anyone using the faders for pitch control? That was my thought, use the knobs for effects, the faders for pitch and use each one of the pad scenes for deck control. I have a Hercules RMX and am thinking of migrating to two of these and a external mixer instead.

i’m using the faders for pitch - two central faders for fine tempo, next two faders for the old 1210 style pitch+tempo but at +/- 50% so i can get big meltdowns with 'em, then the outside two for pitch only at +/- 1 octave which i use to harmonically mix tracks by ear.

I indeed use the knobs for effects and the pads for looping, deck controls, effect buttons etc.

mine broke down like this:

my 6 up faders are effect 123/ effect 123 on/amount
my pads are broken in left in right 8’s if that makes sence (1,2, 5,6,9,10,13,14 for deck a basically)
in the same order its
play sync
cue cup
shorten loop lengthen loop
loop in loop out
same thing for deck b on the other 8
my knobs are actually set up left and right also
top is dry/wet for the effects
down one is channel vol
down one is gain
bottom 2 are x-fader and key
