I think his music is good, But not the best.
Don’t think his a great dj. But he must be doing something right as his doing alot of shows, he also went from being nobody to someone in less than a year.
And from watching youtube clips of him he rocks the place and imo as long as people are having a good time it dosnt matter what sort of skills good or bad a dj has.
what about having to cancel a show cause his macbook shit the bed? with no backup?

dont get me wrong, i dont mind the guy (i identify with him cause i used to listen to from first to last back in the day), but i do agree he just pushes a few buttons and then jumps on a table – which hey, is an awesome party appearantly.
his music is fun, live shows very simplistic like many have mentioned. He doesnt really “DJ” instead he just presses play on a cd player, smokes a cigarette and crowd surfs. He isnt DUBSTEP, more of a combination of electrohouse and dubstep. ElectroDUBhouse.
Also, when he canceled his show because his laptop crashed, major major major pathetic moment there.
He is oknly successful cause he made all his music contacts when he was in From First To Last. And used them to launch into EDM

I wouldn’t go that far. He’s not exactly revolutionary, tbh. It’s just angry, electronic (redundant but you get what I mean) dubstep. Although I do like his electro and fidget productions, and I DO have a bias against mainstream dubstep.
Also, I don’t think he’s a good dj, but then again, I don’t think that’s the point. His musical background was never being a dj, it’s all music production and performance, he probably just jumped into djing because it complimented his productions.
I don’t know about anybody else but speaking for myself i wasn’t thinking about that. In fact i never look at the post count of any member unless i think their spamming. This is a forum people are entitled to their opinions no matter how many posts they have. I mean for example look at my post count which is nothing compared to yours but i still see myself as an active forum member i only post when> I need help, Iv a question to ask, i have an opinion on the matter the thread is directed towards, i can help someone with their problem, i can answer a question someone has or just generally have something productive to say.
I dont post to get my post count up. I mean some of the some of the productive/ helpful posts that i have read are from people with a low post count this is not a popularity contest dude.
the post count wasnt my point. my troll account on another site still has maybe 10 posts.

I can’t stand Skrillex as a DJ, but I like his work as a producer.
Honestly, I enjoy his music. He’s hitting that hard niche of Dubstep that’s going viral. And he does it well.
What bothers me about him is that he’s riding the Deadmau5 train on that label, and so anyone associated with Deadmau5 immediately has thought Skrillex’s shit doesn’t stink. And while I like some of Deadmau5’s stuff, I can almost consistently say I dislike his fanbase.
The problem with these guys, and Skrillex in general, is that they aren’t in the scene for the right reasons. They are in it for the “scene” itself, and not the music I feel. He’s an ex-indie rocker who said hey, I bet I could make some of that wobbly Dubstep. He’s a skilled musician, I just don’t think his heart is with it.
