Ive seen a few simalar threads but all using two laptops and two controllers.
I have an S4 and my buddy has an S2 we were thinking of hooking the two up just for a play around. Was thinking of using decks C&D on the S4 while the S2 uses A&B.
Im thinking it will all work in thereoy I would just add the S2 as a seperate controller- the issue im stuck with is the cueing- do you think cueing would be possible on both controllers. I know it will work on the main S4 but would it be possible to also cue on the S2.
I understand browsing and some other controls will be shared but curious to see if you guys think this is possible or not?
You would need a headphone splitter on one of the controllers since you can’t route the monitor out to both controllers at the same time (even if they are aggregated). The thing is, even if you guys get around duplicating this signal via soundflower/jackosx you won’t have independant monitor cues. On the data side, there should be no problems.
Im on the same boat with you thought. But I might use 2 macs. However, Im consider to use your idea with just 1 macbook and S4 as a main then s2 as at seperate controller. Please light me up on how you connect both controllers to get the sound right and how do you make it sync? Thank you in advance
