there is just an artwork on the new releases after juanuary 19th all releases before are without and the only way to get artwork is to embed them manually,.
sorry - i dont get what you mean by embedding the artwork manually - well i understand what you mean but where do i get this artwork to embed manually cos my download didnt come with any cover art?
for some reason after watching the beatport site tutorials - i got the impression that the artwork was imbedded into the music file - that’s what it says in the “touch” tutorial
maybe you ve hit on an idea there - i could deliberately couple babe pics posted along side my tracks in itunes & tpro - blame it on the itunes plug in and have a much better reference for remembering tunes
"mmm.. what was that tune again .. ah yes the cute redhead in the cutoff t-shirt
and before im accused of chauvinism - it is ofcourse an option for the girls to post up guy pics
and to avoid accusations of being gender bias - you bi and gay dj’s can choose the gender of your choice
and for those dj’s really into the weird stuff then there are plaenty of farm animal pics on the net …
but … seriously - an easy way to remove christina without having to render the track from ableton or convert from max?
apple + i allows you to edit the id3 tags for a track in iTunes, there is a tab for artwork. For non-iTunes editing, you can get hold of something like id3 editor
I can give you a tipp - I also posted in the NI Forum:
The tracks from beatport are so new that you won’t get the cover wherelse,
and when you dont want to make a screenshot from the beatport site you can do it like this:
when you choose the release (not the simple track) you can choose the option “this release” (send to a friend). so you send the release info to yourself - and then the cover comes by email and you can save it and import in T Pro.
Ok, the quality is not so good - but better then nothing !
I use Skitch and rob the thumbnail myself (mac only as far as i know) … great lil app, very quick to use. Thumbnails don’t look so hot in itunes, but are perfect for Traktor
also - if you can be bothered to look for your missing art work manually then junodownloads has a view image full size option on the artwork which you can obviously save and is great quality
i havent found discogs.com to be so great and some strange matches come up in the search function
