Not sure if it helps those waiting for theirs in customs (they have been there for a while) but we certainly listed all of these devices under the USB input device Taric code. Hopefully they will come out soon.

I am becoming increasingly convinced that there’s a been a big rave up in UK Customs since these arrived there on the 3rd June.

I must say. I didn’t realise VAT had to be paid. Read an article from some journo who imported an iPod purchased off eBay and expected to pay tax and was not charged so thought this may be standard. I hope additional costs don’t add up too much. Whatever the case I wish they would get a move on as I was all hyped up waiting to get it sometime this week and now have to wait another week… This is also holding up me selling Traktor 3.3 (which I bought having got the impresson the SE would not come with Traktor LE to get up to speed early :disappointed: ). Unfortunately I’ll make a small loss on that but c’est la vie

Yeah I know. Problem is I’ve spent £64 more than I need have had I simply upgraded… That can go toward whatever the import charges may be.:confused: Should probably have waited on final confirmation from Ean but it seemed pretty cut and dry that it was not coming with Traktor LE.

If any UK buyers could keep the rest of us updated as to when they hear anything. I imported a guitar from the US 2 years ago and customs had it for 6 weeks before somebody saw fit to contact me about getting it. Geniuses.

At least someone in HM customs had a chance to learn Summer of 69.

Edit; If anybody knows where the holding office is (London maybe ??) I’ll go down with a lovely traybake from my nan and see if that wont speed things up.

8.00 am to 8.00 pm Monday to Friday - admitally you are now screwed until 8 on monday, but hey, it could just turn up on you door at that time!

BTW, if any would like to write me into their will so there VCI-100 SE would go to a good home if you get moved upstairs, please put my name in. I only discovered this site a month ago, and so missed out on the chance to get one!

Hey Guys, for some reason you tube has been broken for me since thursday. The videos are shot and ready to go but there is this nasty you tube bug that would not accept any videos. Trying again now.

In terms of them including LE, that came as a surprise to me too, I was told the would not include Traktor LE and then they showed up with it anyway.

Nice… Today I picked up my VCI from the customs-office here in Germany. I had to pay 36 Euro (around 50 Dollars) duty for the vci… it could have been worth…

Now I can’t wait to get home from work and try out my new toy!!!

So, checked the USPS website for an update on the SE - it says:

Attempted Delivery Abroad, June 09, 2008, 6:35 am, GREAT BRITAIN
Out of Foreign Customs, June 09, 2008, 12:09 am, GREAT BRITAIN

…Attemped delivery?! great, but whats that all about - I have no card or anything to suggest an attempted delivery, do i need to contact someone to pick it up or what??

What do I do?

Also, thanks for the videos - the unit looks great, hopefully i’ll have mine in a few days and it wont get returned to sender - that’d be a mess!
