Anyone got their SE yet?

I have had the same with no card posted:
Attempted Delivery Abroad, June 07, 2008, 8:50 am, GREAT BRITAN

I believe it is parcelforce who handle the USPS parcels, it may be worth giving your local branch a call.

EDIT: You can enter your tracking number on to the parcelforce.co.uk website..it will also give you a new reference number.

mine says:
Service: Parcelforce 48
Status: Held

07-06-2008 Awaiting payment of charges
07-06-2008 Arrived at delivery depot

Mine is sitting in Parcel Force Swansea. Need to pay customs charges to release it for delivery.

Just phoned my local parcelforce direct and paid the charges via credit card

I got stung for £31 VAT + £8 Handling charge, but this means i will now get mine delivered tomorrow. :sunglasses:

I used the website SAYNOTO0870.COM - Non-Geographical Alternative Telephone Numbers to search for company ‘parcelforce’ this gave me the geographical phone number of my local depot.

hope this helps you guys get your SE quicker, as the normal process is for them to send you a letter telling you to call and pay charges. Calling them before you even receive this letter will speed things up.

Mines sitting in Newport, and I’m skint until Wednesday/Thursday.

:rage:

Im Newport Pembs, and i really cannot be arsed t drive down to swansea. horrendi.

The USPS website wrote for me: “Attempted Delivery Abroad, June 03, 2008”, eventhough I didn’t get a card or anything. Five days later I had a card from the custom-office in my letterbox…"

Like I wrote above I picked up my VCI today… So I guess you will get to hear about your unit pretty soon.

Thanks everyone for chipping in on this  feelin a bit safer bou it now lol, tracked it down on parcelforce website and its sat in my local branch. Next step is to give em a call and that! woop! nearly there:slight_smile:

Yeeeeeaaaaaah!!! :eek: :sunglasses::sunglasses:

To All GERMAN VCI 100 customers,

my controller arrived today.

Would appreciate to learn how much you had to pay for your customs- and other fees (Zoll, Einfuhrgebühren) ???
+
In my package was NO " AC adapter" (Netzteil) included .Is that normal ?? How about your delivery ???

I don’t think you need an adaptor as the unit is powered via your computers USB bus.

Hey, I´m from Germany, too. I´m writing in english so the other members understand me.
I received my VCI last Wednesday! (picked it up directly from the customs-office)
I just had to pay tax (19% Mehrwertsteuer) but NO other fees, because the vci is a computer-interface, that cannot create sounds, like a music instrument or so. On interfaces/keyboards there is no fee in Germany.

You don´t need any adapter! Select “USB Power” , plug it in and HAVE FUN

Hi ALL,

thanks a lot for your reply !

Was just wondering about the adapter

We had to pay a total of 71 Euro fees .:eek:

After many weeks of waiting…

Cheers Ean. Worth the wait.

rjw - how much did you have to pay in fees for customs? just in case i manage to get one of the 10 left

Wow. Mine arrived today. What can I say. I am new to DJing, but after doing months of research pre 2008 for the right controller, I know I have picked the best. Sod the VCI 300. Sound card and some lovely monitors next.

As soon as I have a mix knocked out, I will post up.

Ean, today was like christmas day. From announcement to reality, the last 6 months has been worth the wait.

I am sure you have a few plans up your sleeve for what is coming next. I wait with great anticipation. Rock on DJ Tech Tools!

Hey Liam.h, can’t remember the exact figure but it was just under £40 I had to pay. basically V.A.T + an £8 handling charge.

i didnt have to pay anything for australia…
i guess we are lucky
