Apc 40 lights not working

Hey guys, i can’t figure out how to make my lights stay on and/or flash on my apc 40 using Traktor Pro 2… I have all the mappings set how i want but don’t know the rest of the procedure. i’ve have a list of colour codes but no clue how to program it! i have 2 seperat mappings for deck a and deck b. if i add in a mapping, do i have to add out as well?

  1. turn your APC40 on.
  2. Start ableton, wait for the rectangle around the clip matrix to show up. (if it doesnt, open preferences and select apc40 as a controller.)
  3. Quit ableton again. (this process will put the apc in “dumb mode”. This switches of the smart/hardwired functions of the unit, till you turn it off.
  4. open traktor.

You have to do this every time you want to use the APC40 with traktor.
