apc40 not going into dumb mode with traktor 2.5

so i finally got around to installing 2.5… while messing around mapping my apc40 i noticed that the LEDs werent mapping like i expected… i could change the color but not get any interaction from them. then once i got to the lower part of the controller i noticed that the default row of buttons for track selection wouldnt map correctly, and im not talking about LEDs here but mapping functions( i know they are only green in that row) i specifically was trying to assign them as modifiers with hold function but they are stuck in toggle as in only one can be active at a time. very strange… i have attempted a few times to put into “dumb” mode but, it isnt seeming to work. when i start my new map, it retains the stock ableton LED mappings ie the knob rings are already lit etc. ive mapped this device at least a dozen times, and never had this happen.

any ideas?

note* i mention LEDs a few times but let it be understood that this problems involves mapping the controller in general.

I have had no issue with mine.

I do have to import my TSI each time tho.

I will start Traktor up and it will not light all my LED’s on the APC…so I import the TSI again and then its 100%.

Goes into dumb mode before, as I start up Live.
