Arduino Step sequencer MidiOtter

Arduino Step sequencer MidiOtter

Hello

Im studing electrical engineering and this was our end project of year one.

It is a arduino mega 8x16 matrix Midi step sequencer with two potentiometers and slide fader.

Basicly you controll where and when you want to send a midi message to an extarnal source with the 8 rows and 16 coloumns. In our case thru a midi-interface and to a laptop using Ableton Live.

The fader is controlling the speed and the two potentiometers controll global velocity and global the length of the note.

im posting a crappy first try video with som shitty sounds and a link to our “fancy pancy” prezi presentation in swedish with pics and the scheme.

Hopefully this is some inspiration for you guys or something something.
greetings Axel

Cool

very nice project… i love step sequencers so i’m writing some code for my midimasher app so i can use my launchpad to program steps while also using it to control ableton and traktor and choosing either as the target for playing the samples.

About tech docs and code

Hello! I know this is super old, ancient post, but still - that info link is down, maybe schematics and Arduino code still exists somewhere? Thank you in advance
