The act of shooting @ each other is something of an affront to the spirit of the Olypmpics. But I get the point.
Does anyting in the Olympics really have a point anyway? An obstacle course with creative/interpretive ways to scale using the methods above would be fantastic though. I could really see something like this taking off in a HUGE way!

good timing on viewing this post, there’s some very similar stuff going on in ‘clone wars’ at the moment.

that sounds like the plot of so many ‘set in near future’ films, lol. just need jason statham and gerard butler and you’ve got yourself a death race/gamer hybrid right there.

actually, has anyone noticed that, barring a few subtle differences, those films have almost the same plot?

If you’ve ever had to shoot, you’d understand I guess. It’s not something that’s amazingly fun to watch (I’d say the same for golf) but you know it takes a lot of skill to do what they do.

I’ve been a longtime NRA member and firearms advocate, and it’s something I do enjoy seeing be done well. It’s really damned hard.

they had a shooting range at a camp thing when i was a cub scout, chose the gun with the big scope on it cos it looked cooler, had my eye a bit too close, didn’t hold it firm enough… big black eye. was the coolest 10 year old at school the next week, lol
