I have been visiting some music websites and want to buy my self a audio dj 2 but hte problem is on the Native İnstruments site is says it comes with a Traktor Pro 2 to upgrade to 2.5 with remix decks and price is dropped.But when ı look at the other other sites , amazon or thomann , etc they say it comes with traktor LE ? Anyone knows the truth please tell me ? Cuz if thats without Pro 2 ı dont buy that and go with ony the software.I am right ?
Gary is right. It used to come with LE, but traktor recently announced that all their hardware would now ship with full versions of traktor pro. you can see the announcement on the blog here The New World Of Traktor – Remixed The other stores probably just haven’t updated their product info yet, but may as well buy it through DJTT anyway.
It’s important to remember though, that the product they ship you is older stock with an LE license included. Once you register it, they will send you the upgrade license via e-mail.

[/quote] Not to thread-jack or anything, but are you telling me that if I have an audio 2 that came with the LE disk, that if I register it, they will send me the Traktor Pro 2 upgrade for free??
That was a discussion that was going on in a previous thread. I can’t really see how it’s possible for them to tell when the unit was purchased, as they explicitly state that LE serials purchased with NI hardware registered after April 1 will receive an Upgraded Pro license.
Alright, well I registered the sound card but did not receive any email (as promised by NI) regarding the update, so I sent an email to support about it.
Anything from them ? I have purchased one and dont know what to do.Would you mind telling what you have done ? Tell them how and what to upgrade to Traktor Pro ?
I never registered the LE version, so I was instructed by the NI person that once I register my LE version, I will receive an email on how to upgrade to pro. My question to you guys is: Do I have to install LE on my computer in order to register it?? I’m away at school right now and I don’t have the disc but I do have the serial number, so I’m hoping the serial is all I need.
Yes you do. Once it’s installed it shows up in the Service Center. And the serial is all you need, you can download the demo version of Pro from NI’s site, and enter your LE license from the software.
I had recently downloaded the DEMO version of Traktor to try it out. I liked it and went on and bought a Traktor Audio 2 today. Mine came with LE, not with Pro, so I did as stated in NI’s website: I registered my Audio 2 and put the LE serial number at the Service Center. However, as of yet, almost 12 hours later, I’ve not received my Serial Number. Has anyone received theirs? Am I doing something wrong?
BTW, nobody is answering at NI Forums…
Alright, so I tried to do this but it did not work. It told me the serial was invalid. Just to be clear, the Audio 2 that I purchased from the local retailer came with a Traktor LE disc and serial, not Traktor 2 LE disc. Is that what is the problem when trying to activate it?
Maybe I ll go to Berlin and get it from the store
