free TDuo/TP license with registration of A(2|4|8)DJ

Just got this via the audio palace blog:

This is a german DJ store, which features quite a few interesting articles. Today they announced that those that register their A2DJ/A4DJ in May will get a free license for Traktor Duo license and those what will register their A8DJ in June/July will get a free Traktor Pro license.

Sooo what your saying is… if i bought a audio 4 from the djtt webstore and waited until june to register it i could get a free copy of trpo ?

whooooooooooot? seriously? :open_mouth:

True, at least that is what I could also make up from that blogpost.
(Though my german could be a bit off)

no .. for an a4dj you wait until may and get traktor duo. you would have to get the a8dj and wait until june to get traktor pro.

but this is just info they picked up at musikmesse .. not official yet until NI confirms i guess ..

Weird. I thought NI stopped going to the trade shows. Why would the promotion be tied to Musikmesse?

Phil.

I call April Fools.

And I call SHENANIGANS!!!

This man has a very good point !

I asked Ean to look into this for us at any rate

Turns out this is real. http://j.mp/bnlZ6a This is going to work out real well for me. I still haven’t registered the audio 2 I bought back in January.

My audio 4 came in the mail yesterday. If I knew about this I would have ordered the Audio 8. Would have saved me about $40.

Can you re-register?

Meh…already got TP…and the Audio 4.

I want TSP!!!

Never mind, I had my math wrong. It’ll be cheaper to go to TP this way, but I could’ve gotten the audio 8 and TP for only $60 more than what I’ll spend with the audio 4 and TP.

so does this version of traktor DUO support timecode, or is it similar to the traktor pro vs traktor scratch pro deal. would be an awesome deal if it did… would probably consider swoopin up an audio 4 if it did for when im “forced” to use timecode

nope…no Scratch involved here…else I woulda been all over it like a kid on a cheap sweet.

Wooh!! Looks like i’m getting traktor lol.

To make it scratch, you only have to buy the RCA chords and the Timecode Vinyl? I’m pretty sure the software is the same, the only difference is you get the soundcard, rca cords, and timecode vinyl and cds. So you could take advantage of this deal and make it scratch…

No, that is not how it works, check out the ‘Upgrade options’ on the NI website.

My apologys for spreading wrong information. I thought the “Traktor Pro” was the software, regardless of whether or not you used DVS or a midi controller.
