Audiofire 4

I’m looking into a good soundcard, but I really can’t decide. I’d prefer around $300 and hopefully firewire. I really like the Auidofire4, but what does everyone else think?

What about latency issues… I’ve heard there are some with VSTI’s would this affect me and a VCI-100?

Hey guys, I got an Audiofire 4 a month ago and am having trouble getting both Traktor 2 and Ableton to detect it. Is it a must to use Asio with it? I’m trying to use Asio4All. Just wondering if you guys had any trouble. I have a PC, and though the soundcard shows up in audio setup, it says “please connect and select device” or something along those lines.. Any help would be lovely. Thanks.

for those with the audiofire 2, can you use it for external mixing, or do you have to use it as a main out/cue out type set up like the audio 2 DJ
