Balanced TRS Cables?
I have the Traktor Kontrol S4, should I buy 1/4 TRS male to male cables or TRS to XLR? for plugging directly to a PA system at a club if there is no mixer to plug into.

TRS to TRS are balanced.
TRS to XLR are balanced.

Probably best to have both.
You should have a pair of RCA’s, a pair of TRS Males, a pair of TRS male to XLR male. Those are the only cables you should ever need w/ your s4. I have a couple of others to set up booth monitors, but you probably won’t have that problem for a long time so don’t worry.
Buy 1/4" to 1/4" and some 1/4" to XLR adapters if you don’t want to carry two sets of cables around.
