BeatHook- Cool?

I voted no. Indeed its a nice gimmik but when i’m spinning i’m jumping around a lot. That means i would loose the phones, the hook or i would pull down the mixer because i would forget that my headphones are attached to my pants.
you can get 4 of those at ikea for 2 bucks. they’re called door hooks 
+1, I don’t really jump as much as move to the beat but that would still be enough to make the headphones fall off the hook.

then i realized, like ctrd, that ist a door hook with the some logo on it.
this is something i might buy if i was in the dj area of the guitar center, but not online
I got to meet the guys behind the beathook and they work pretty good.
i dont think its really a pratical solution to this ‘problem’ , many broken cans i predict as a result of these 
I don’t think this is anything like a door hook. It doesn’t just sit in your pocket, it clips to your pocket. And I would bet it’s a pretty sturdy clip judging from how thick the metal is.

didn’t they already invent something to hang your headphones on?
i think they’re called “necks”.
Another though here, when the headphones are around my neck about the lowest point the cord will go when I’m standing is around my waist. If the headphones were at my waist the cord would be hanging down by my feet. I don’t really like that idea.
It’s a good idea, but i would just end up forgetting that i had it.
It’s a trick from headphone manufacturers to make you sit on your cans and rush out to buy a new pair.
Won’t work with me, mine are made of a magnesium alloy, practically indestructible.

I like the idea, but I have a hard enough time remembering not to walk away from my setup with phones around my neck, with this I’d be pulling gear off the table fer sure.

voted no, seems pretty gimmicky. i’m all for moar dj tt stuff though. how bout some slipmats for those of use that do use tt’s…lol =D
my old phones had a 3m cord. Used to battle with it and tie it up. But the inevitable happened. Almost pulled the mixer off the desk. I take them off and put em down. Hardly ever have them round my neck…only if there are no monitors. Then i will keep em on and round my neck. I have something like that on my desk tho.
