Beatport: No coverart with dl

I’m curious; does every song you download off of beatport come with cover art? I’ve had a string of downloads that have come with it, and a string that have not. I’d like to think they would include a nice little picture when I shoveling out so much money for a single track.

After an update some years ago (I think it was in 2009) they added the coverart to the mp3, so almost all songs before 2009 doesnt have it.

You’re getting MP3s right?

You can fix it (and the rest of your collection) easily by using Trainspotter V2

I’m downloading wav instead of mp3

WAV files don’t contain meta data, so they will not have cover art. Beatport just started selling AIFF format, which is also lossless, contains cover art and other meta data, and plays in almost every program that plays WAV files.

TL;DR: buy AIFF instead of WAV

I have an another question about Beatport and it’s better not to open an another thread. Some of my bought mp3s can be re download but some of the not. Why is that?

I also would like to know this. As I recently bought a macbook pro and lost some music I paid for! Managed to recover it using the house share feature on itunes tho so it was ok I guess.
