Behringer CMD MM-1 won’t control Traktor but is sending midi signals.

So I have tried various TSI files from both Behringer and other sources with the same outcome every time.

What happens is I have a midi signal sending, but nothing happens in traktor. Faders don’t move, knobs don’t work, nothing. I have also set the ports in the controller tab to MM-1 for both in and out. Tried all ports, tried EVERYTHING. WHAT AM I MISSING HERE?

I am running a Macbook Pro late 2014 with Yosemite and Traktor 2.7.1.

USB connected from MM-1, I also have a DC-1 that is providing the same outcome. Will not control remix decks.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

No body has experienced this? Wondering if there is a problem with the MM1

I’d ensure that units are sending out midi in correct Midi channels that matches the mappings.

How to I ensure that the midi channels are matching? I am using a macbook so how can I change the midi channel the controller is using ? I think it might be set to channel 1 and from the information I find, the default MM1 uses channel 5

Check the mapping in the controller manager and see what is the Ch value under the assignment table. Once you got it, use Channel Changer software from the Behringer site and change your MM1 midi channel based on mapping information.

You are the man! Thanks a million Stewe

You are welcome my friend!
