Yes. I clearly stated that I was talking about the insert-part of the mixer. Not the (low resolution) fader + send&l/r below the channel track (at least in Live view). The way the mixer is integrated into the GUI is silly. Breakout window is a far superior solution when you’re doing 8 bus channels sending stuff back and forth into eachother. And only two sends? C’mon. And why is there no built-in mid/side knob? It’s a very stripped down and basic mixer, that is the opposite of limitless. You can workaround some of the stuff, with macros or what Ableton calls them, but the truth of the matter is that it does the very basics that a mixer should do, and nothing more. And if you can’t see that, then you’re obviously making very basic music.
