since this project will have to be as low cost as possible, i’ve spend some time searching for the correct design (to prevent mistakes) and also good but not expensive components
at this point i’ve encontered the first problem…
keeping in mind that the only experience in electronics that i have is to turn on and off the power button of my pc…
said that, please be patience, and please sorry for some of my stupid questions…
so the problem are the LED…
i’ve managed to connect the analog potentiometer to the PCB and to a LED, it works fine…
I’d like to see what you can do with the supplies.
Wouldn’t you rather spend a couple bucks and get some better buttons etc? The box/suitcase looks rather worn, big and heavy. I mean you can find nice yet cheap plastic project boxes at radioshack.
Oh wowzer. A plain old bit of moulded plastic, just like 95% of the other electronics I own. How can you not think that box is cool? It has so much character!
+1 the old box is awesome and unique. Also maybe have a surface on the inside of the box in which you mount all of the pots, sliders, buttons, etc.
That way the lid of the box still serves as a cover for it and you basically have something that has it’s own built in case.
Also, maybe take a look into replacing those hooks with something a little more stable for keeping the lid on?
