Buying more equiptment.. What to do???

So I recently made a few extra bucks at work, so I’d like to buy some new stuff.. I currently have a pioneer ddj-sx.. I love it, but would also love a pair of pioneer cdj’s as well..

I’ve been searching around and have seen some pretty sweet deals on craigslist.

One option is finding a pair of used cdj 2000’s for around $2000. believe it or not I have seen them at this price a few times, but you have to time it just right. They move fast..

Another option is a pair of cdj 900’s with a djm 700. I found a guy selling that set up in good condition for $2000. Also comes with flight case.

Basically I would like to spend around $2000 for some new gear. Something that will last long and hold some value.

What do you think?

Don’t buy 2000’s unless you get Nexus, that’s just my opinion.

BPM is more accurate on Nexus.. Look at the display… 128 vs 128.0 (0-10 range)

Go for 900’s. I have a pair and love em. I use 2000’s at gigs and don’t notice much of a difference in terms of functionality. That screen though. :heart_eyes:

The waveform is seen better on the nexus screen. It might be the same size but it has higher resolution

Both players have identical BPM accuracy showing 1 decimal place.
