Can the F1 use the Instant Gratification mapping for MIDI Fighter?
Is it possible to alter the Instant Gratification mapping to work fully on a Kontrol F1 (in MIDI mode)? I’m thinking about getting a MIDI Fighter (probably will eventually) but would like to try to map my F1 first to “demo” the functionality of the mapping. Is this possible? Thanks.
You can map it how ever you want as long as MIDI mode is engaged.
What labeling system do the buttons on the MIDI Fighter use? In the mapping, controls are mapped to things like “Ch03.Note.A2”. How is the MF grid labeled?

I actually got this to work relatively easily, what you do is you got to the controller manager in the native instruments controller editor, and re assign the pads to the corresponding midi note and channel, the same as the midi fighters buttons, and then import the midi fighter instant grat mapping. The only issue i’m having is getting the 4 banks mode to work. Only reason I haven’t uploaded it yet.
The midi lights are assigned in the controller editor, due to the limitations of the traktors midi mapping thinger, it only has so many color functions in midi mode, which are assigned in that editor

Just an Update, i’ve discovered a problem with the F1 and delay with instant push on effects. For some reason in midi mode it delays when doing some of the faster punch in effects, not sure why…I’ve tried making my own mapping with a simple one button push fast beatmasher and it still has a weird delay. The delay isn’t an always thing either, sometimes it works and sometimes there is the delay. Maybe i’ll upload that and see anyone else has the problem?

Now the MFPro can control the remix deck, so , i dont know what to buy? Kontrol F1 or MFPro?
MF3D controls remix decks and I’m still not sure about MFpro does it also.

F1 is designed to use with full remix deck and MF3D for some more than that. You can combine HID (rmx deck no tsi needed) and MIDI mapping you create that can be added on top of HID. Have you seen MF3D remix deck beta video?
I bet they work great together but MF seem more fun to me. I mean you can map what ever effect or pretty much every control to any of samples. Imagine six buttons on both sides as select six different layers of controls on top of HID. That’s live remix. I like idea!
F1 just toggles between HID/MIDI you can’t use it like MF3D. You can even map motion to control volume and filters for all slots if you already don’t have any other controller to use knobs instead.

If i use it with Traktor, i can only use traktor effects? i can’t do , for exemple, back spin effect (as VirtualDJ)?
I think you should wait for MF3D remix deck release and see new mapping for sample effects from video. You can use Traktor effects ofc and map it to buttons or tilt. I think that Backspin from VDJ can be done with Turntable FX in single mode. Eventually you can record beckspin sample and play it from sample deck when ever you need.
Just a little thing, I have not been able to work out the problem I was having, works fine on everyone else’s computer but mine, lol. Reinstalling everything to see if this resolves the issue.
can someone tell me where i can find the tsi file so i can use my f1 with grat.
