Cant Find NI Massive in Plugin browser

Cant Find NI Massive in Plugin browser

high everybody!

been having an issue getting NI’s Massive VST plugin to appear in my browser in Ableton Live. im running windows 7 32bit, Live 8.2. I used to have my plugin’s directory in C:\Program Files\Custom VST folder until i was told (by someone at the Ableton forums) not to do so. i changed the directory to C:\Users\Me\Documents\VST folder and still nothing shows up when i rescan.

EDIT: i shouldnt say “nothing” shows up, because i also have Image Lines Gross Beat VST and it does show up, but Massive wont.

anyone know why i cant see Massive in my browser?

do you see the massive.dll in the new folder?

the only .dll is in the DXi folder. so i have massiveDXi.dll but no massive.dll

Copy the massive.dll from the Native Instruments > Massive folder into your VST folder

I’ve had so much issues with Massive crashing my sets I had to get rid of it… All the songs I’m using it on, I have to find new sounds for. But maybe that’s just me, I dunno.

[/quote]If you using windows 7, try detecting compatibility and running it in compatibility mode. It also could be the way you installed it. Fixed problems for me.

wow, thanks! Will try!

issue resolved, thanks for the help guys.
