can’t scratch on vdj6 with vci 100 !!!
hi community,
i have a black serie vci 100 with vdj 6.
i downloaded à vci 100 mapping on this site but i can’t use scratch fonction with it !! vinyl mode button on or off nothing it happens !!
why ??? how can i do ?? special mapping for scratch exist ??

yes, a special mapping does exist.
I’m using a hercules steel which has a dedicated ‘scratch’ button. this allows me to flick between what virtual DJ calls ‘vinyl’ mode and ‘jogwheel’ mode.
If you only want to use the wheels for scratching the change the mapping to ‘vinyl’ mode for the jog wheels (you can adjust sensitivity in options section of preferences) or assign a button to flick between the two modes like I have…

VDJ custom mappings are only available to registered user of vdj pro. Registered Users are not allowed to pass them away.
But its easy to do your own mapping if you will. You just need to create a defintion file where every midi-event gets a name, and a mapper file where each name gets a function.
