I built a Claude Code visualizer for the Midi Fighter Twister.
Each Claude Code agent is mapped to a knob on the controller, giving you a quick view of agent activity at a glance. It’s especially useful when you’re running multiple projects or several agents at the same time.
Curious if anyone else is using MIDI controllers for developer workflows.
Encoders must be set to accept host LED control in the Midi Fighter Utility. Otherwise the device drives its own LEDs and ignores this page entirely, which looks the same as a wrong value table.
There is no such setting on the MFU and host LED control is always on in firmware. Native mode (a display takeover) is coming on the next firmware update and sounds like exactly what you’d want since it introduces a new layer completely owned by the host and independent from user changes via the MFU.
PS: White was added a vel 127 on the classic color map in the 2026 firmware, Expanded ditches the hue approach and goes with a more varied swatch with different brightnesses built in without needing the extra brightness/animation message
