As far as I can see, ‘complextro’ is just electro from ‘hey look at me’ producers, to whom a tune comes second fiddle. Y’know, like guitar virtuosos wanking around on a fretboard; not very much fun for everyone else. So the ridiculous genre name helps in that regard.
