controller pad drumming

Hi have a reloop TM8 with 16 pads .. Have seen other Djs do Drum like techniques on there Dj controller pads . Just wondering where to start to learn how do this .

Get the Melodics program for your computer.
Watch Mad Zach, Memorecks, Soul Brother Stef & Tehu (A few of my favourites) to get an idea of different playing styles.
Open your DAW and find a sample you like and put it on loop and spend time jamming out on your pads so you get used to playing in time. You can use a metronome if you want.

Listen to songs you like and try to mimic the drum pattern as best as possible.

Repeat all steps till you’re muscle memory get’s trained.
