DJ BOOTH IS FINISHED! SEE MY POST FURTHER DOWN FOR COMPLETED PICS
After achieving my life long goal of finding a career as a lawyer in Tokyo, I decided to award myself with a custom DJ booth.
This booth was inspired by the Hoerboard Classic; however, given the space constraints associated with living in Tokyo, my only option was to find someone who could design me a table with similar design and functionality, while taking up as little space as possible. I also ended up requesting a bunch of other cool ideas that came to me during the design process.
ETA is mid-April. If all goes well, I think the designer will start to produce these tables on a larger scale.
Stay tuned
It has taken quite a bit longer than I had hoped to get this table made, but production on the table itself is basically complete. All that’s left is paint, and the addition of the acryllic bits.
Thanks! It’s a custom design, so I’m sure they could modify the sizing if you request.
To be honest, though, I’m going to hold off recommending this company until I get the final product and find out the price. The reason I say this is because they took over a month longer than they quoted for delivery, and it also looks like it’s going to end up costing quite a bit more than they originally told me.
Finished product should be arriving in the next two weeks.
It took two months longer than anticipated, cost more than planned, and the color ended up being different than I asked for… but I’m still pretty happy with the finished product. I figure I can always repaint it later if I really want to…
Thanks everyone!!! It means a lot knowing that I didn’t waste the better part of half a year planning this thing
One more pic I forgot to add of the storage area in the legs. This actually came to me at the very late stages, but I’m glad we were able to incorporate them.
