Deep House Mixtrain #5

Hey everybody, Keithace and I have decided to start another mix train, so lets start this :slight_smile:

Terms:

  1. 30 min set with the last song playing all the way out, so the next person can mix in.

  2. all exports of the mix should be in a lossless format (.wav or .flac)

  3. You have 3 days to finish your part of the mix

  4. Track listings and the mix must be submitted to me through Dropbox.

As the title states, this will be a deep house mix open to personal interpretation. If any soulful house, techno, minimal or other track happens fit with the deep vibe, its acceptable. :thumbsup:

As of now, we need 4 more djs, first come, first serve (Only join if you a confident in you mixing ability). Here’s a list of who we currently have in no particular order

  5. Xonetacular

When finished, I’ll be doing a quick mix master and then i’ll host it on my soundcloud.

I’ve never done anything like this but I’ve being starting to collect deep tracks lately, count me in.

Well, don’t know if Maqish will be up for it, but I’m most certain James Dan, dannyboy, will join in, if not back 2 back on my slot. :slight_smile:

Honestly, both would be acceptable, as long as they keep the flow going. I’m a bigger fan of the new school stuff, so i’l probably play something like that.

If I did this I would be playing the new stuff. Hmm I would like to sign up but if my turn comes up during the middle of the work week might be kinda hard to fit it in the 3 day time limit.

I don’t necessarily want in, but I can step up and fill any slot in the time limit if needed. So put me down as a backup.

If there’s a backup slot to fill, I’d be ready to fill in. Not before next wednesday though, as I’m going to Fusion Festival and don’t know when I’m gonna be back :smiley:

Well, this looks like our lineup i guess, unless someone has a preference where they want to play. I definitely would love to go first, unless someone else has a killer intro in mind.

like keith said, i’ll need you guys to pm me your dropbox email (if you don’t have dropbox, sign up) so i can create a dropbox folder for us to share the mix

btw, decon, 3heads and photojojo, i’ll keep you guys in the loop if we have someone back out
