Definetley going with the S4. BUT where to buy it?

I want to get it ASAP with like not a long wait time. I was thinking just buy it off the DJ TechTools store but like I was wondering how long it would take to get to me. Also if i were to go to a music store who sells it and buy it which store would you recommend? I’m thinking sam ash but i dont know. Thanks.

Where do you live ?

Miami, Florida

I just found a cheap price online and asked guitar center to beat it since I didn’t want to wait for it to get here. I think my total with tax came out to be like $807 or something.

Just remember that by buying from DJTT you’re supporting this website, and they give so much to the DJ community that is worth the wait.
I’m saving for my S4 and I’ll buy it from DJTT! I imagine that it has a bit of a learning curve, so I won’t be using it in a live situation right away…so may be if you have a few days before your next gig you can wait for shipping.
Either way congrats on your S4!

Agreed. Seems like a pretty awesome website (I’m new here). If things go good then I would deff. buy the S4 from here in about 3 months.

A few days of extra waiting would be worth it.

I see what you mean. This site is truly amazing. I’m buying it once i move though because I am moving back to Miami next friday so i dont want to have to deal with the equipment shipping when i can just buy it when im there.

I got mine from guitar center but only because I purchased it online on Christmas Day and got an absurd $150 discount. Any other day of the year and I’d purchase from DJTT. I have bought a few other things (the S4 tutorial DVD and the S4 Bag) and the customer service and speed of delivery was second to none.

S4, vid, USB cables and bag all shipped to South Africa - DJTT were brilliant.

if you go with djtt you do get a tutorial vid, which if you’re just starting out could be wicked usefull. Zzounds.com allows you to buy and pay in 4 seperate payments while you’re using the equipment which is pretty sweet. You’re approved as long as you haave a credit/debit card. Just a couple things to keep in mind

The S4 dvd is definitely something you should get.

Right. But also what about the actual stand for the computer? Should I get the case from NI or the bag? Or both I should say? I’m also getting the midi fighter

Did you get A grades for the whole class?

4.2 GPA i think that explains it. I mean unless your talking about something else haha, that would make me feel like a dumba*s

I got mine from guitar center, but i worked a deal, i got the S4 and my Xone XD:53 for 940ish with tax, but i wish i wouldve waited now because i think djtt is offering a free midi fighter with purchase of an S4 which i so wouldve done.

as for the case, i ordered it from DJTT, had to call to get a tracking number, but other than that quick, got it in less than a week if that tells you anything. the NI flight case is straight dope, it makes the S4 look so much more professional and it keeps your stuff safe when moving it around and such, and it has the built in Laptop stand which is not bad at all!!! i am very satisfied with the case and the S4 for that matter, great piece of equipment!

The last time I was in Miami, the Guitar Center in that sketchy little mall off SW 88th st. on the south end of downtown had a big stack of them.

I’d get it there in a heartbeat, and if you were planning on gigging with it, I’d see what kind of a deal I could work out on Pro Coverage. Most stores’ extended warranties are scams, but GC’s is pretty decent. It’s rare that I buy a piece of gear that costs more than $150 without it…especially if I intend to take it apart or gig with it.

Yes, the last time I read it, it covered things that you took apart and modded…as well as gigging with them. But don’t blame me if they change policies and your shit ain’t covered.

As for the laptop stand…some people like them. I’m probably about to order a Crane stand for my Maschine just so it’s a bit easier to work on…but I don’t like laptop stands in DJ booths. Yeah, it makes it convenient. But I’ve never seen a DJ use a laptop stand and not end up staring at his screen the entire gig. I’d honestly rather place the laptop on a shelf below the DJ booth where I couldn’t even see it while spinning if I had to than put it on a stand. But that’s just me, and I admit I’m weird.

Buy it and the DJTT bag from the DJTT store. If you think you need more protection then get the flight case, but you can put the S4 with a decksaver on it inside the DJTT bag. Crane stands are really nice.

Zzounds with a 4 month payment plan. =p
