So denon is starting their teaser campaign for their new product.

Red picture above waveform in screen is for cd or loop?

Ok, it’s a media player likely w out cd capabilities, midi mappable…what the heck is CC (from the red LED) on the display? Maybe some sort of connection a la Xlink? Jesus if it’s an all in one I’ll scream.
This teaser marketing is starting to annoy me. Just pass on the specs, will ya!
Whatever it is, the screen is atrocious. Seriously Denon, it’s not hard, even the lower end CDJs have screens you can at least deal with.

Looks nice but the screen is different from the video.
Interesting photo. Looks like a MIDI capable media player with some good controls.
I can see the AAC, MP3, AIF, WAV text. What appears to be the same controls from a dns3900, a shift button and standard loop and hot cue buttons. The top right looks like standard browser buttons and controls. Top four buttons look similar to the 3900 as well.
That photo looks like it has a CD drive in the front though which points to “DNS” series Rather than “SC” :-S
Something not right .. but if that is it, looks kinda awesome 
On a dutch shop site they put a lot of ifo about this player, they state it maybe not be 100% accurate, but they suspect they are really close.

play & cue short throttle probably close to each other buttons for quick response?

high resolution jowheel with switch mode pitch bend and scratch

and cd slot
This is what I have been looking for - let’s hope its not priced like traditional CDJs as I really just want the nicer jogs + HID.

I still think there’s something fishy with it being called an “SC” if its a CD player when all their other ones are DNS (and have midi/media player support as well).
Doesn’t “SC” stand for “Software Controller” … Perhaps its a controller aimed at primarily their reckordbox thingamajig, can’t imagine their being a CD slot TBH ?

From what I am reading it will play content from its engine sources.
edit2: wonder what this means "used in conjunction with the SC3900 player "… if a paired sc3900 will be required for some of its advanced features?
