DJ hands...

DJ hands…

hello,

can anyone tell me what’s the thing about the “dj hands”?

why most of the dj’s i see (ean golden included) have the same “touch and get out” moves?

hehehe

touch the button buttons and get the fingers of quickly like if it was hot..

here is very good example of the other end of the spectrum

Everything i touch becomes gold but i love the feeling of ruber knobs and plastic button.

it’s all about physicality and working with conviction. Watch ninjas in action and you’ll understand. :stuck_out_tongue:

You’d be dea before seeing one of them!

hehe
unless I was a ninja…duh duh DUUUUUUH

Armless psytrance DJ…

SO AWESOME.

I do that a lot and I have no idea why.

Thinking about it it’s actually quite impractical for EQ tweaking, your arm’s suddenly a foot away from where it needs to be

For hitting buttons it KINDA makes sense. It minimises the chances of accidental double hits.

FOR BUTTONS - I GUESS it’s okay.

But, if you’re gonna do it - try not to look like a dick.

All that filter twisting using your whole body is a no-no. EVERYONE that (over)does that looks like a plonker.

EVERYONE.

You’re gonna get answers about expression/musicality/connection/personality. That’s all BS. EVERYONE that (over)does it looks like a plonker. :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s totally true. It never looks cool. And besides, I just want it to sound cool :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t use my whole body, just flick my arm up off things when I’m done. No idea when or why I started doing that, but it’s an automatic thing!

:stuck_out_tongue:

ask yourself this though;

is it in time with the beat

is it more dramatic during a build up or on a big drop

answer yes to either of them, you’re still a plonker

I, uh… I mean, I. Ummm…

Hmmm…

I don’t know what to say about that.

Don’t do drugs, kids.

Oh - how I laughed!

I also do this…

Double? Dream? Hands?

WTF???

DOUBLE? THUMBS? TO? SELF?

WTF???

This bloke is definitely, either:

a) A peodophile
b) Leader of a cult
c) A Catholic Priest

Either way - he frightens the life out of me.

dude, i’ve just noticed you’re in bristol - explains the use of plonker and why i was a bit confused

Slight movement when on the EQs but a full body twist when on the filters. Even though I know I look like a plonker I cant stop myself.
I’ve found the best thing to do is keep away from the filters.

I’ve found the best thing to do is AVOID looking like a plonker at all costs.

AT ALL COSTS.

It’s true in life, and it’s especially true when a bunch of gurners are directing their focus straight at you.

(Sorry man - it’s for your own good).

looks like a couple of people weren’t listening. beware, I nearly pissed myself when I saw this.

on a related note, a message to anyone who has ever played this song without it being 100% tongue in cheek. If I find you, I may not be able to give you the banhammer, but I’m calling anonymous and launching a DOS attack on yo ass.

No joke.

This thread has not given any acclaim to the psytrance DJ in the vid…

WHO HAS NO ARMS.

And DJs with his feet.

Shit is epic.
